The summer after senior year, I quickly became friends with foreign exchange student, Mathilde Benguigui from Paris, France. She expressed interest in modeling for me for a creative shoot. I took portraits of her around Downtown Anoka, and they turned out to be some of my favorite images. I love Mathilde’s natural model-like poses, and I got a lot of Lorde look-alike vibes from it.

This summer she is coming to visit so maybe that opens up another possibility of a part 2 shoot? Who knows, but I loved this shoot and I was very fond of the results! I’ve written letters to Mathilde throughout this year, and I know she’s doing great in France!
