Community member, Elijah Prigge asks a question in the Q&A of Ode to Minnesota Saturday at Frozen River Film Festival. The screening for Ode to Minnesota was in Somsen Hall- Harriet Johnson Auditorium. The Frozen River Film Festival happens annually for a week only in Winona in the state of Minnesota featuring films and documentaries in the area and on campus. Students were admitted for free, and the event was open to all the public.
Winona state students Becca Braun, Allison Kleman, Ella Otto, Hannah Prondzinski, Erin Rademacher, Haley Ronayne and Erin Thomas rehearse the piece “I Am,” their choreographed piece for Dancescape by Jayde Grass, a WSU sophomore. The 2020 production of Dancescape will open on Thursday, February 13.
Keynote speaker, Dr. Dustin York takes over the last session at Warriors Lead Summit on Saturday, Feb. 15 held in Kryzsko Commons. The session was on career readiness and how to network successfully. Students who attended the summit got to experience four different breakout sessions and enjoy a delicious lunch.
